Well, Amazon fooled me and instead of taking 12 hours to go live from publishing they took about two, so First to Burn is up a day early. You can pick it up on Amazon now, and it is in Kindle Unlimited if you’re a subscriber.
You can pick up First to Fall on Amazon now, and it is in Kindle Unlimited for those of you who are subscribers.
Welcome to Lessons in Love.
Olivia Blake is the romance alter ego of erotica author Kelli Wolfe. While for obvious reasons I’d hoped to keep the pen names separated, it didn’t quite work out that way. If you’ve read any of my other stories you know that there was always a sweet, romantic element included somewhere, and as Olivia Blake I’m going to town with it. None of the books released as Olivia are erotica. Expect some steaminess, but these books are all about people falling in love – usually for the first time, and often with people they really shouldn’t be falling in love with. Of course that’s what makes it fun, right?
I named the blog after a series of novellas I’m currently working on and will be publishing in August and September. The series is a reboot of my old Sweet Nothings books, which I always felt had a huge potential. The stories just weren’t a good fit for erotica, though, so they never did well there. Olivia’s versions are the Six Million Dollar Man versions. They lost a few pieces here and there (mainly the naughty bits) , but they’ve been largely rewritten so that Alyssa and Kimberly’s stories about twice as long as the originals. They actually run closer to three times longer in terms of story because the originals were erotica and so much of the explicit parts have been removed.
For those of you not familiar with the originals, the stories are about four girls who have just started college and discover love for the first time. Maybe you know them – they’re kind of shy and nerdy, were never part of the popular crowd, and have never had a real boyfriend, but they’re smart and they’ve got attitude and they’re not afraid to stand up for themselves.
The books are connected because the girls are roommates in their dorm, but each one is written to be a standalone story. There are no cliffhangers and everyone gets a happy ending. Yay! I love writing those.
The first in the series is First to Fall, and it will be published on August 7th. The second and third stories (I’m still agonizing over the titles) are going through a final round of editing, and I’ll release them as they’re finished. The fourth story should be ready to publish in mid-September.
If you guys enjoy these first books, I’ve got four more girls anxiously waiting to have their stories told. I’ve also got two novels that will be out before Christmas, but I’ll talk more about them later.
Thanks for coming by, and I’ll post more information soon!
